As the **Venue Manager for our In Room Dining team,** you will be a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who is an expert within their field. The successful applicant for this role will need to be dynamic, well presented, commercially savvy and pro-active to the needs of our guests and a real people person. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our iconic bars offering a unique experience, including effective management of a dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage leadership and customer service at The Star Gold Coast. **A few of your responsibilities**: - Work with the support of the Director Food & Beverage Operations to drive venue profitability and efficiencies - Recommend strategies to the General Manager Food & Beverage regarding in room dining options to drive revenue - Analysis and management of labour and cost of goods to maximise venue revenue - Mentoring and developing your team to maximise engagement and retention - Liaison with internal and external stakeholders **What are we looking for**: - Extensive venue management experience in bars, bistros executive lounges or restaurants - A hands-on operational approach and be passionate about developing your career within hospitality - Outstanding standards, professionalism, and a commitment to guest service - Confidence to lead a large and diverse team while providing individual coaching to get the best out of the team members - Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol **About you**: With your exceptional attention to detail and venue management background, you will take pride in ensuring an unforgettable experience for our guests.
