This role is best suited for an organised, and detail orientated individual. Due to the nature of the work the role will be part/full time on site. **Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Factory Organisation_:

- Forklift operations - loading and unloading trucks in a safe manner.
- Utilise and improve on the existing goods inwards and stock processing systems.
- Regular cleaning of the factory, including bathrooms and production rooms.
- Diligent paperwork and stock keeping
- Supply Chain & Inventory Management:_
- Run the physical/ logístical elements of the the supply chain, from raw materials and distribution of finished products, with the support of an Administration Officer.
- Monitor, manage and optimise inventory levels.
- Coordinate with the Administration Officer and Production team to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Possess and maintain a valid forklift license to handle materials and assist in warehouse operations.
- Liaise with Managing Director for future supply & budgetary planning.
- Quality Assurance:_
- Compliance with existing HACCP Food Safety Program (handling of dairy goods), including completion of regular paperwork.
- Implement and manage quality control measures to ensure product consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Machinery and Equipment:_
- Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Develop maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Conduct on the spot repairs or improvements to machinery to improve output or efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement:_
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased output and efficiency.
- Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ Experience relevant field or equivalent.
- Preferably experience in an role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Attention to detail particularly when cleaning, counting stock and organising the freezers.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You do have to love Ice Cream to work at our Factory

**NOTE**:
This role will be physically demanding with long periods of time on your feet and physically moving stock (there will be a requirement to be able to lift and move 25kgs safely).

There will be a lot of cleaning the factory including production rooms, kitchens and bathrooms.

Occasionally, the role may include time working on the production line.

The environment is high paced when the freezer doors are open, you will have the support of the management team with two directors on site.

**Salary**: $42,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
