The Student Experience Officer (Peer Programs and Student Leadership) drives student engagement by coordinating peer programs such as peer mentoring and buddy programs, facilitating and developing student representation through assistance to our Student Voice Committee and supporting student representatives on Governance committees. The Student Experience Officer also is responsible for supporting and assisting in the establishment of student clubs and societies as well as running the Orientation Helper program each session.

Please note this is a part time fixed-term contract position (3 days a week) based at our Sydney CBD campus until June 2026.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with organizing, promoting, running and evaluating student programs within a budget
- Demonstrated ability to be punctual, reliable, meeting deadlines and deal with competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to students and professionals
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT literacy and experience (eg student engagement or learning platforms such as Blackboard, dedicated engagement platforms, Canva, MailChimp, social media etc)
- Excellent communication skills, outgoing and approachable manner
