MQ Health is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and experience medical imaging manager to lead a diverse imaging practice in partnership with MQ Health initiatives, clinicians and managers to further our strategic goals.

THE ROLE- Work within our Medical Imaging teams to oversee and deliver strategic business management (Full-time position)- Be part of a University owned, innovative healthcare organisation based at Macquarie University (North Ryde) where professional development and career progression are supported and encouraged.The Role

We are seeking an accomplished and proactive Medical Imaging Business Manager to oversee the implementation and management of projects and initiatives that meet and deliver on the strategic goals within our Macquarie Medical Imaging unit. In this exciting new position, you will be the key point of strategic quality and process improvement, and support project and strategic plans throughout the business.

This role will have you supervise and mentor the Nuclear Medicine & PET team which is made of technologists with an ability to perform all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, PET, Theranostics and BMD imaging. This spans across Clinical Trials and projects specific to the Imaging Department as required. Working with MQ Health executives and clinicians, you will be involved in stakeholder management, change management and project management in a dynamic and innovative academic health system.

Key Accountabilities include (not limited to):
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET examinations and produce the associated images in accordance with the standards set by MMI and MQ Health- Assist Nuclear Medicine Physician in the set-up of procedures, administration of therapy doses, operation of equipment and administration of drugs during nuclear medicine procedures- Operate technical equipment and report any errors, or malfunctions to the supplier technical and support team to seek a prompt resolution- Communicate, liaise and coordinate with medical, administrative and reception staff in the MMI clinic and throughout other MQ Health clinics in accordance with MQ Health values- Comply with established standards for radiation protection (ALARA) and current licensing with NSW EPA- Manage and implement projects as assigned by the Associate Director - Imaging and Hospital Operations and ensure effective project management to support the achievement operational objectives.- Provide information on all aspects of project implementation including preparing project briefs and plans, identifying and coordinating resources, stakeholder consultation, developing budgets, identifying key milestones and deliver regular reporting on progress

About You

You will have prior management experience within the medical imaging industry and a track record of successful delivery and implementation, with high-level influencing skills and strong stakeholder engagement. You will possess qualifications within Sciences and and/or certification in diagnostic CT within NSW. As a natural problem solver, you will manage multiple demands simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept up to date. You will thrive in a dynamic environment with the ability to recognise and mitigate risks while meeting budgetary constraints.
