SkyPoint is perched on the 77th floor of the Gold Coast’s Q1 building and is truly an extraordinary venue, 230 meters in the sky. We are seeking a passionate and driven leader to oversee both front and back of house food and beverage operations across the high-volume Bistro+Bar as well as conferencing and events.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a dynamic leader with a hands-on approach to ensure the consistency, quality and integrity of the experience is consistently delivered while building and maintaining a collaborative team culture, for the business, both short and long term. You will instill in your team an exceptional level of service and efficiency while maintaining a high standard of product quality and presentation. You will be responsible for the recruitment of new team members, conducting on the job training, coaching and mentoring; and support with rostering to ensure adequate staffing levels and within budget. Not to mention, responsible for F&B stock management, ordering and implementation of strategies to drive commercial results. You will oversee the venue preparation and maintenance, as well as oversight of the wider business as part of the SkyPoint management team.

**To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate**:

- Minimum 5 years leadership experience within a similar high-volume customer service/hospitality environment and a demonstrated, hands on ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor and develop teams at the front line
- Experience in conferencing and events
- Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding guest service experience and experience in instilling and maintaining a positive and professional service culture within a fast-paced, high energy team environment
- Previous experience working to wage and COGS budgets, while driving sales and performance through sales-based initiatives
- A proven ability to work across multiple disciplines (event, food & beverage and guest service operations)
- Exemplary communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution skills
- Display exceptional attention to detail and be a highly organised individual
- Experience working with POS database systems and competent cash handling/management abilities
- Requirements include valid RSA (QLD) certification, current RMLV certification

This role will be suited to positive, outgoing, career minded individual who has a passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality, industry, and would thrive in an environment where they can make a positive contribution by leading and developing a team to deliver an exceptional guest service experience in a professional and energetic work environment.

Flexibility with working hours is essential as weekend, early morning and evening work is involved, as is the ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work tasks.
