Learning Design Consultant
- Location: Open to all office locations
- Type: Permanent, full time or 12 month contract available
The opportunity
This exciting opportunity will be responsible for designing and developing training solutions that support individual, team and claims business goals across the entire Claims business. This role will allow you to utilize your strong learning design experience and innovative strategies to deliver a state-of-the-art training program in a hybrid environment.
Your new role
- Design and development against learning plans and evaluation of learning effectiveness using agreed methods and frameworks
- Ensure all programs, products and services in the areas of design are effectively designed within agreed program methodologies and standards
- Ensure all programs, products, services and initiatives are designed with quality control standards to facilitate program evaluation
- Establish and maintain excellent collaborative working relationships within the Learning & HR team, Divisional customer group and external vendors
- Implement policies, processes and procedures relevant to the design and development of all Learning initiatives
- Provide learning design advice, support and assistance to Learning Domains & Divisional Learning Partners
- Interprets and translates Enterprise and Divisional capability needs into learning interventions
- Provides research on best practice development tools/methods to ensure QBE provides future focused, and relevant learning programs to employees at all levels
- Leverages new technologies to ensure optimal experiences and learning outcomes for learners & the organization
- Is an active member of a cohesive and high performing team locally, and a virtual team.
- Establishes and maintains effective internal and external relationships with the ability to influence, advise and deliver outcomes, meeting customer needs and supporting business requirements
About you
- Experience working in a remote/hybrid environment.
- Experience in the use of Articulate, Microsoft 365 and WalkMe (desirable).
- Strong technical learning capabilities, including learning measurement and course evaluation and assessment, and competency frameworks
- Innovation mindset, flexibility & adaptability
- Excellent visual written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and comfortable to consult with leaders
- Must be able to travel when required
Nice to have
- Experienced in learning role in global and complex organization
- Experienced in supporting learning delivery and/or broader HR processes
- Fundamental knowledge of market leading training practices and trends
- Familiar with learning frameworks, models and their use in underpinning business strategies
- In depth knowledge of instructional design theory, techniques and trends
- Insurance experience
