The Store Person is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory, ensuring that the store or cellar area is well-organized and stocked. In a hospitality environment, the role includes maintaining and handling beverages in the cellar, ensuring they are properly stored and prepared for service. The individual must ensure that all stock is accurately recorded, stored under the right conditions, and distributed efficiently to support business operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**For Store Person**:

- ** Inventory Management**: Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods. Ensure accurate stock levels by performing regular stock counts and audits.
- ** Storage & Organization**: Organize the storage of goods in an orderly manner, ensuring easy access and minimizing potential damage.
- ** Stock Rotation**: Implement first-in, first-out (FIFO) principles to ensure stock is rotated and used efficiently.
- ** Order Processing**: Prepare and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- ** Health & Safety Compliance**: Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- ** Equipment Maintenance**: Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools
- ** Beverage Management**: Oversee the storage and handling of beverages (e.g., beer, wine, spirits) in the cellar, ensuring they are kept at optimal conditions.
- ** Line Cleaning**: Perform regular cleaning of beer lines and other dispensing equipment to ensure the quality of beverages served.
- ** Stock Rotation**: Ensure proper stock rotation to avoid waste and maintain freshness.
- ** Health & Safety Compliance**: Adhere to health and safety guidelines specific to beverage handling and storage.
- ** Maintenance**: Monitor and maintain cellar equipment, including refrigeration units, pumps, and gas systems.
- ** Deliveries & Restocking**: Receive and properly store beverage deliveries. Restock bar areas as needed.
- ** Quality Control**: Check the quality of products regularly to ensure they meet the establishment's standards.
