About the School
Located west of Ipswich and 6km from the township of Lowood, Tarampa State School caters for Prep to Year 6 with consistent enrolment numbers between 90-100 students.
Our school services a diverse community of long-established rural families and a growing number of families who have moved from the city to a semi-rural setting. We offer an integrated and quality assured curriculum with high quality teaching and learning practices and opportunities.
About the Role
As the Principal your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold values-based, ethical leadership.
- Promote socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Nurture positive partnerships with students, teachers, community and stakeholders.
- Be future-oriented and strategic.
- Understand policies and legislation affecting the department.
- Manage department resources to achieve goals.
