Deckhand

We are looking for deckhands for our spanner crab boats. We are prepared to offer a weekly retainer for 52 weeks per year. This amounts to a package of $70,000 per annum for the right applicants. You will be expected to perform general fishing duties, with trips not exceeding 3 nights away. There is a 6 week closure from November 1 through to December 16 giving an opportunity for a 4 week break. Apart from that it is fishing based on weather Averaging around 140 nights per year.

You will require your own ABN.

You will need to be fit and able to work onboard a boat for multiple days.
