Labour Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen within McCain’s Ballarat Labour Department. The role will support labour planning for our Ballarat Site to meet production schedules and provide administrative support to the plant leadership teams ensuring operational capacity is maintained.

The role will be responsible for the allocation of labour resources to meet the plant production schedules in accordance with budgets, company policies, legislative requirements and other relevant requirements.

**About the Role**
- Ensure prompt and appropriate backfilling and replacement of employees due to unplanned absenteeism
- Provide regular statistical data and recommendations on casual employee usage, absenteeism and workforce planning
- Plan, approve and follow-up on leave
- Allocate labour appropriately to process orders
- Maintain records of all casual employee matters

**What you will bring**:

- Experience and demonstrated skill in an administrative position, in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Formal qualifications in a business discipline would be advantageous
- Experience in rostering and a working knowledge of relevant systems
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
