The General Manager Communications works with the Bureau's Executive and the Senior Leadership Team on the strategic communication outcomes related to reputation with the Bureau's stakeholders and customers.
The Communications Program has three functional components - external communications, internal communications and communications delivery. The communications delivery function includes media responses, parliamentary and government coordination, and a creative design team.
You will require the capacity to operate at a strategic and whole of enterprise level and have exceptional stakeholder relationship skills, and ability to engender trust and respect.
This position will suit those who can demonstrate a track record of delivering successful and effective communications outcomes in a complex environment. Ideally, you will bring a blend of broad and deep communications and stakeholder experience working in both public and private sectors in a geographically dispersed organisation.
