Research Program Manager, Sunshine Coast Health Institute

An exciting opportunity exists for a Research Program Manager to plan and develop strategic health research initiatives relating to Sunshine Coast Health Institute at the direction of the Executive Director, SCHI.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

You will be responsible to establish and maintain effective partnerships between stakeholders across the hospital, community, and the university sector, so that research strategic initiatives are effectively enabled.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
Provide advanced clinical reasoning, knowledge, principles, and practices to complex and interrelated health strategic research planning initiatives to achieve organisational goals for improved health outcomes.
Extensive knowledge of both the Public Health industry and clinical research.
Lead strategic research programs within health relevant to SCHI and the broader health services network.
Lead strategic projects Investigating and researching alternative models of care/service delivery suitable to the clinical, geographic, and fiscal context of Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and in collaboration with other Health Services and University partners where applicable.
