**TEN Recruitment **has been working closely in partnership with a manufacturing client in the FMCG space to recruit for a dedicated
**Transport Planner** to join their multi-faceted team in the Southern Suburbs of Perth. This fulltime, permanent position will see you utilising your previous logistics and transport experience to improve the operations of their busy organisation.

**Your responsibilities may include**:

- Utilise the organisations transport management system to complete load planning.
- Development of service plans and other resources for pea period operations in cooperation with service providers.
- Meet or exceed production targets by identifying order consolidation opportunities and improving truck utilisation.
- Ensure the manufacturing site is meeting production targets by monitoring movements, reporting outcomes and communicating opportunities on site.
- Ensure all delivery requirements are met by liaising closely with the customer service team and external transport companies.

**Essential criteria**:

- Proven experience in Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain operations.
- Working knowledge of Cor obligations and WHS policies.
- Previous relationship management experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation.
- High attention to detail.
- Outstanding level of data accuracy.
