Early Childhood Educator

Our client operates a family-owned early learning centre that caters to less than 50 children. The stunning heritage-listed building is set around lots of nature in a quiet area of Abbotsford, abundant in opportunities for community involvement, excursions and play-based learning experiences for the children. The centre was a finalist in the architectural awards in 2021.

The service employs a play-based approach to learning where the children can engage in a variety of play experiences to develop interests but also be scientists, explorers, problem solvers, creators, investigators, leaders, great communicators, negotiators, great helpers and storytellers in different areas of play as they play independently and engage in play with others. Regular lessons are delivered weekly by qualified specialist teachers in Music, Drama, Spanish and even a sports coach
- An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Child service
- Knowledge of children with additional needs
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management
- Working With Children's Check and Child Protection Cert
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation
- Experience working in a similar environment
- You have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- A professional and ethical approach to all aspects of work
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

**Salary**: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
