**The Role**:
Due to the expansion of the team, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain. Reporting to the Sales & Operations Planning Manager, in this role you will actively analyse statistical sales data trends and future investment planning, ensuring engagement across all key stakeholders to deliver an accurate inventory forecast plan.
You’ll get to work closely with stakeholders across multiple businesses, including Repco and NAPA, to ensure Retail and Trade event inventory is captured and forecasted within company budget, as well as to monitoring and reporting of forecast projections to achieve rebate targets.
Flexible work arrangements may be available. Based in either Brisbane, QLD or Glendenning, NSW.
**What You Will Do**:

- Facilitate demand / forecast agenda and content for monthly Category S&OP Meetings
- Extraction and reporting of forecast trends on the first week of each month, identifying possible implications and proposing adjustments
- Review top level forecast and establish alignment to budgeted forecast plans
- Review system generated sales activity - Monthly by Exceptions (Outliers)
- Review the top 200 lines weekly in designated category(s) - sales performance by week
- Active participation in weekly category meetings
- Prepare demand requirements and timelines for stock requirements to support Perpetual Network Planning activities, Range Introductions, Service Initiatives, etc
- Monitoring and reporting of forecast projections to achieve rebate targets
- Forecasting down to a store level where required
- Generation, analysis, and distribution of ad-hoc reports as required

**About You**:

- Proven experience working within and improving inventory / demand management systems
- Experience in a sales and operations environment
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to interact with all stakeholders internally and externally
- High level of management, communication and computer skills
- Advanced numerical and analytical skills
