Quantitative Analyst, Investment Risk

Due to growth we have a need for a Quantitative Analyst within our Investment Risk team. This high performing, supportive team is focused on providing in-depth investment risk analysis across a large multi asset class portfolio to help stakeholders make better investment decisions.

You will primarily be responsible for the development and validation of quantitative investment models, and enhancements to the model governance framework. This involves collaborating with different teams to ensure internal modelling processes align with industry best practices, models are well maintained and governed to ensure inherent and residual risks are managed.

This will include;
- Experience in quantitative modelling, data processing or process automation using Python programming language.
- Experience with interpreting, manipulating and analysing data in relational databases using SQL to ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness. Including writing queries in SQL, writing scripts to draw out useful business insight, and interpreting existing SQL scripts.
- Experience in quantitative portfolio risk measures and methodologies.
- Good foundation of investment knowledge, including a proficient understanding of capital markets, listed and unlisted investments, and various investment security analytics.
