Transition Analyst

This role will be working with the Information and Technology Directorate (ITD) Transition Project Manager, Project Team Members, Executive Director Information and Technology Directorate, A/Deputy Commissioner Strategy and Corporate Services Division, relevant ITD business units and QFES information technology partners and suppliers.
- **Office based in Albion - Close to Train Station**

The ITD Transition Project includes the implementation of evidence-based ICT best practice to inform the design and establishment of the ITD operating model, organisation structure, and proposed ICT enterprise topography. This includes resource and functional requirements, service and process design, and the implementation of best practice ICT services within QFES for all strategic, operational, and tactical requirements and systems.
The ITD Transition Project has identified a requirement for a Transition Analyst to assist with multiple organisational transitions and business transformation projects that are happening concurrently. This is a technical position to be able to identify impacts and risks to the ITD Transition Project from activities occurring within the other organisational transitions and transformation activities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Partner with Business Units and other Government Agencies to identify and understand key technical activities and schedules across multiple organisational transitions and Business Transformation projects that are occurring in parallel to the ITD Transition Project
- Identify and perform technical impact assessments of other Business Unit Transformations and organisational transition activities on the ITD Transition Project timeframes and activities
- Identify risks and appropriate controls or treatments for the ITD Transition Project in conjunction with other organisational transitions and transformation activities
- Regularly brief the Senior Project Manager and other key stakeholders on alignments and impacts on other parallel activities, including recommendations to help inform the delivery of the ITD Transition Project
