**The Role**

- Ventia is currently seeking a full-time Grounds Person to join our team at the RAAF Base Edinburgh. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the ongoing upkeep and presentation of the site’s surroundings, playing a key part in maintaining a safe and professional environment.
- This position is located at RAAF Base Edinburgh, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. You’ll also enjoy the benefit of a rostered day off (RDO) each month.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Your day-to-day tasks will include (but are not limited to):

- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment.
- Maintaining gardens and lawns.
- Performing general grounds labour and supporting other trades as needed.
- Cleaning and conducting daily checks on tools, vehicles, and machinery used.

**About You**
- To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

- Experience in grounds, parks, or gardens maintenance.
- Competence in operating mowing equipment and tractors.
- A solid understanding of general horticultural practices such as mowing, pruning, planting, fertilising, and mulching.

**_Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen._**
