**What is involved in this role?**

You will be providing exceptional, person-centered care to enhance the life of our client in the comfort of their home. Shifts will be a minimum of 2 hours to 8 hours, including morning, afternoon and active overnight shifts**.**

Working closely with a client in their own home you'll assist with a wide range of quite personal daily activities such as:

- 24 hour monitoring and enteral feeding
- Suctioning
- Medication
- Manual Handling - including slide sheets and hoists experience preferred but not essential
- Grooming, bathing and dental hygiene.
- Personal care, including bladder (such as changing catheter bags) and bowel management.

We do things differently at Right at Home. You'll be part of a person's ongoing support team, which means you'll get to build long-term professional relationships with your clients and your teammates.
- Prior experience working with clients and participants with complex support needs and mental health supports.
- Prior experience maintaining accurate comprehensive progress notes
- Your ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality.
- A current workers Screen / Yellow Card (QLD)
- Complete NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Certificate given on Completion).
- Hold a National Police Check.
- Be able to supply a Covid-19 Certificate of Vaccination as per the Qld Health Direction for workers in a healthcare setting.
- A current Australian driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- A smartphone device.
- Flexibility to work a roster with varying shift times and commitment to allocated shifts
