Are you ready to dive deep into the fascinating world of plants? We are seeking a dedicated Professional Projects Officer to join our dynamic team at the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, where your expertise will help cultivate knowledge and preserve our unique flora.

- **Curatorial Excellence**: Process and curate plant specimens with precision and care.

**Contract**:
Contract till 31 July 2025

**Essential Qualifications**:
Appropriate degree in Botanical or Horticultural Science or equivalent is essential.

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
- Current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
- May require some intra/interstate travel and some out of hours may be required.
- Demonstrated ability to work alone and be self-reliant.
- Will be required to work at all BGSH botanic garden estates.

**Remuneration**:
PO2, $88,255 min - $97,667 max p.a.
