**About the Role**

We are seeking an ardent Library Technician to join our Library team on a part-time ongoing basis and contribute to creating a stimulating and welcoming environment for our students and staff. The primary objective of this position is to contribute to a quality library service that is responsive to the teaching, learning and research needs of the Trinity College community.
- A Diploma of Library/Information Services, or equivalent qualification recognised by ALIA (or progress and commitment to achieving this qualification) and relevant work experience
- Experience working in a library in a secondary or higher education environment is desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of, and experience using a library management system.
- Well-developed customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills with capacity to prioritise competing demands
- Well-developed computer literacy in Microsoft Office Applications, with the ability to learn new systems.

**Contract Type**:
This is an initial part-time (0.8FTE), permanent position.

**Salary Range**:
Band Level 1, FTE $60,649 - $62,279 plus 10.5% Superannuation and 17.5% Leave Loading
