
Client Manager

As our Client Manager, you would be responsible for working closely with the NSW Government account management team to manage the portfolio of NSW Government clients. This position partners with the Account Management team and co manages different portfolios throughout the NSW Government.
You will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Meltwater’s products and are responsible for driving engagement and adoption through all stages of the client’s life cycle.
In this role, you will report to the Managing Director of Government Accounts.
**What You'll Do**:
- Responsible for an assigned NSW Government portfolio of clients that are shared with the Account Manager.
- Create a trusted relationship with each client and drive value with our products
- Execute programs to drive product adoption and client satisfaction with continuous client contact
- Conduct business reviews to track the health of accounts, listen to customer feedback and outline areas of improvement
- Proactively identify issues that may impact product engagement and resolve with assistance from internal stakeholders
- Track client’s usage of and activity level on our platforms to monitor the health / risk status of your accounts
- Conduct client training to ensure new users are up to speed on the Meltwater platform
- Work closely with your Meltwater team to solve project challenges and design effective solutions which impact the whole NSW Government client base
- Identify key media issues in the NSW Government landscape with the aim of identifying new opportunities to engage with the client base
**Who You Are**:
- Currently based in or willing to relocate to Sydney
- 1 - 3 year of relevant work experience across account management, client/customer success or government
- Good business acumen and a regular consumer of news related to media, politics, government, or international affairs
- Passionate about building relationships along with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong empathy for customers, plus a passion for influencing customer revenue and growth
- Ability to think outside the box and adopt a solution-oriented approach to solve problems for clients
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia (working holiday visa is not accepted)
