We’re growing our team nationally. This role could be based out of Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney or Brisbane. You’ll get fantastic exposure, as you work with a range of internal & external stakeholders, including key brokers and partners across various IIA (Intermediated Insurance Australia) brands such as CGU, Lumley, and WFI.

As a Specialist, Motor Assessing, you'll be responsible for supporting and assisting motor assessors with technical knowledge. You’ll assist in managing IIA worklists, risk, compliance and customer management. Working with customers on negotiating settlements for referred claims whilst providing an exceptional level of customer care.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Assess commercial motor vehicle ensuring motor vehicle repairs are conducted in an appropriate manner, and the repair costs are fair and reasonable
- Assess and adjust claims for vehicles.
- Work with customers on negotiating settlements for referred claims whilst providing an exceptional level of customer care.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Tertiary qualification/s in Motor Repair Trades (spray painting, mechanic or panel beating)
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Understanding of not just passenger vehicles but also Caravan, motorcycle, pleasure craft, heavy machinery, agricultural farm machinery, farm vehicles and commercially modified vehicles such as ambulances (highly desirable)
- Experience in Insurance Motor Vehicle Loss Assessing and Claims (highly desirable)
