Statewide Program Coordinator

About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the ongoing development of Prison Mental Health Service (PMHS) across Queensland.
About you
Oversee the development and/or amendment of service models and procedures for the PMHS to achieve nationally recognised accreditation standards and to ensure that service delivery is appropriate, efficient, effective, and equitable.
Identify current and future service requirements for the PMHS and negotiate service agreements and joint protocols with Mental Health Services, Queensland Corrections and other relevant government departments outlining goals/objectives, standards and performance indicators for existing services and new initiatives.
Ensure continuous evaluation and improvement of PMHS activities across the state through consistent data collection and developing standard feedback processes from stakeholders to inform evaluation and service monitoring. Participate in innovation and change to develop responses to address emerging service needs in relation to forensic mental health service provision pertaining especially to prison mental health services.
