Staff required for this position are required to have a strong dedication to continuity of care and assisting our participants to reach their long and short term NDIS goals.

**Our disability support workers will**:

- Provide support to participants with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
- Understand and provide appropriate care to participants with low and high care needs who may demonstrate some challenging behaviors.
- Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community supports, within clearly defined guidelines.
- Store and maintain confidential documents in a safe, secure and confidential manner
- Assist clients to meet their NDIS goals.
- Report incidents and hazards to management as they arise.
- Assist clients to organize and attend appointments relating to their healthcare needs.
- Have a strong english proficiency and communication skills.
- Encourage and support clients to engage in social activities relating to their interests, beliefs and culture.

**Qualifications/requirements**:

- Cert III Individual Support (Disability); or equivalent.

**Experience**:

- Experience is not necessary but highly sought.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.44 - $75.67 per hour
