The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Information Specialist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Assist with the development, implementation and day to day management of corporate and business information services
- Provide expertise and system administration for the electronic documentation and records management system (EDRMS) and other key digital information systems
- Critically analyse and investigate problems related to information processes, implement digital solutions and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Proactively contribute to the overall information management framework

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- While not mandatory, experience with corporate records system administration (EDRMS, Content Manager) and SharePoint will be well regarded
- Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary
- Temporary full time (nine months, with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $3 632.10 - $3 951.90 per fortnight

Our high-level responsibilities for the division are for corporate strategy and planning and oversight and management of strategic partnerships, service improvement, digital transformation, digital operations, digital assets, digital partnerships, portfolio/program/project management including major capital/infrastructure programs, clinical coding, service disruption, service redesign.
Information and Data Management provides high quality information and advisory services to facilitate reporting, analysis and decision making by management, clinicians and staff of Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
