**Total Tools Tingalpa** is looking for a **Full-Time**Group Visual Merchandiser**, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business.

**Primary Purpose**:
The primary purpose of this position is to drive excellence in customer service, sales, and merchandising by ensuring the highest standards in store presentation and operational management. Through effective visual merchandising and store leadership, this role enables the store to exceed customer expectations and consistently achieve overall performance goals. Previous store management experience is highly regarded.

**What will you be doing?**

**Customer Service**
- Serve customers in store - provide advice and information on products or direct to appropriate team member while working on the floor

**Merchandising**
- Follow VM guidelines for merchandising displays
- Maintain and improve store displays
- Ensure all products are correctly labelled with the appropriate security tags/locks
- Redevelopment of current displays/bays
- Identify slow moving, indent or deleted stock as instructed by the Inventory manager
- Basic Visual Merchandising practises: best sellers & high GP lines eye height, all vertical and horizontal lines on display, stock full and pushed to the front and in order of product/pricing
- Liaise with department managers for suggestions and further product knowledge.

**Leadership**
- Provides clear direction, support, and coaching to team members to achieve sales and service goals.
- Actively identifies development needs and delivers ongoing training to foster a high-performing team.
- Previous experience leading the day-to-day store operations with a focus on efficiency, consistency, and quality highly regarded.
- Makes informed decisions that support customer service, visual merchandising standards, and stock management.
- Champions a culture of customer service excellence by handling escalations, mentoring staff on bestpractices, and ensuring customer needs are consistently exceeded.
- Collaborates with the Store Owner to set and review VM objectives, track results, and adjust strategies to improve performance across all operational areas.

**Training**
- Train and mentor in store Merch & sales team in all aspects of the VM guide & ensure all areas of the business are following & abiding by the same VM policies and procedures.
- Undertake training on new lines & accessories as provided by suppliers

**Pricing**
- Ensure all stock is priced correctly and labelled
- Morning and afternoon online updates are labelled same day
- Bulk pricing is labelled in all appropriate areas
- Manual price updates labelled same day when required
- A4 and A6 showcards correctly displayed throughout the store

**Catalogues**
- Ensure Catalogues are set up appropriately before the day of commencing
- Ticketing and POS promo gear is on show and displayed with excellence
commencement.
- End bays and bulk stacks are appropriately displayed & kept full & fresh in all areas through promotional periods
- Removal of catalogue ticketing/updating labelling at conclusion of event / catalogue period.

**Workplace Safety & Security**
- Perform all tasks in a manner that will ensure there is no risk of causing injury or harm to self or others
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Provide a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OH&S guidelines, keeping areas clean and tidy including ensuring shop floor is free of any trip hazards
- Notify Store Manager of any potential hazards
- No stock is to leave the store by any means without being paid for or invoiced or paperwork
accompanying a return/credit

**Theft/Shrinkage**
- Report any suspected theft or suspicious behaviour

**Stocktaking**
- Rolling Stock take program to be developed & actioned weekly
- All Batteries counted weekly
- All power tools counted monthly
- All store bays counted minimum twice per annum
- Adjustment of stock correctly following protocol provided by Group ops manager & franchisees

**Replenishment**
- Stock Control of incoming goods, responsibility for replenishment of all new stock in a timely manner this means advising inventory manager when stores are low or out of stock
- Replenishment of all existing over stocks/warehouse stock to be actioned daily.

**General**
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Undertake training as provided by store and suppliers
- Assist with the development of new relays and store racking
- Follow all Manual Handling guidelines
- All range reviews/new arrivals to be carried out/cut in and executed in a timely manner
- Other tasks as designated from time to time.
