_**Position Summary**_ The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the successful warehousing and inventory management of Cold Storage. In addition, the Logistics Coordinator will ensure timely and accurate organization of stock and transport, maintenance of booking orders, and internal control procedures and provide both guidance and support to their peer(s). The position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, self-motivation, and strong stakeholder management. - **Key Result Area**_ Major Responsibility Area Key Result Area Warehouse, Logistics, and Inventory: - Manage stock control: monitor stock levels, confirm orders, retrieval and timely delivery of goods (loading and transferring) - Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the Planning, organizing, and controlling of the warehouse operations - Ensure warehouse is presentable at all times - Ensure inventory information is accurate, reliable and accessible Quality Assurance: - Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are being met and report any areas of concerns to the OH&S Manager. - Ensure all areas of QA are met and appropriate documentation is supplied. Stakeholder Management: - Ensure effective communication with all internal staff by business relationships and actively providing support and guidance - Maintain and develop professional relationships with all external stakeholders/suppliers/customers Staff training and development: - Train, develop and coach both new and existing staff - Promote team culture and constantly motivate staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse management Process Improvement: - Keep abreast of warehousing and inventory management industry trends and make recommendations as necessary - **Experience**_ - Previous experience in a similar role/capacity - Solid computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Products (predominantly excel) - Strong planning, coordinating and organisational skills - Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately - Hands-on approach with a high attention to detail - Works well independently with minimum supervision and is also a team player - Ability to supervise, train and develop staff **Salary**: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Schedule: - 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Mickleham, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
