Contour Personnel are a leading HR and executive search agency based in Australia and we are partnering with our client, a leading IT company with a global presence and a passion for innovation. They are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Analyst Programmer to join their team in Melbourne.

**Your main duties & responsibilities will be to**:

- Undertake design, development, research and analysis and evaluation to create, test and modify computer systems, programs and integrations and system program needs and determine hardware and systems functional specifications.
- Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user's needs after identifying technology limitations in current user systems and associated processes and procedures.
- Translate the solutions into detailed program specifications and prepare detailed logical designs to establish the order in which data is processed and the sequence of operations.
- Write specifications for computer systems and assist with producing the components of computer programs.
- Prepare reports, manuals and documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of system software for use by computer equipment suppliers, as necessary.

**Your Skills**
- Strong familiarity with the digital environment using Agile / Scrum methodology.
- Well-developed consulting skills (within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 professional services firm) and the ability to provide sound strategic direction and analysis.
- In-depth understanding of digital concepts, theories and technologies, specifically mobility, process automation and data analytics.

**Qualification and experience**:

- Degree or tertiary education in Technology
- 5+ plus of analysis and design experience on complex projects
- 8+ years of experience in IT delivery
- Experience across the software development life cycle, including high level estimation and business case development
- Exposure to AWS and Azure preferable
- AWS Certified Solution Architect
- Exposure to Micro Services, Kafka, EC2, RDS, No SQL, Kong, OAuth
