**The team you'll be part of**
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
The Network Planning and Optimisation team consists of a group of technical experts responsible for ensuring the best design/planning and network performance across all radio technologies spanning the entire Nokia portfolio.
The team works dynamically with many various project team stakeholders including Site Acquisition (SAED), Build, Integrate & Commissioning, Operations and CARE teams and represents a critical contributor from the initial phases of a project through until the final acceptance and operations.
**What you will learn and contribute to**
Are you passionate about solving problems? As part of our team, you will:
- Be responsible for leading and supporting 3G/4G/5G radio network RF planning and optimisation.
- Be required to complete RF coverage simulations, understand link budget & parameter optimisation, deliver NetAct KPI & field measurement analysis, support network performance troubleshooting with capability of completing detailed root cause studies for improving network performance.
- Have capability to troubleshoot complex radio technical issues and liaise with internal/external stakeholders to resolve problems arising in network performance.
**Your skills and experience**
**You have**:
- Expert experience with 3G/4G/5G Nokia parameters and features
- Expert experience in NetACt based KPI’s and counters with excellent understanding of measurements and triggers
- Expert experience in performing field measurement/drive test or crowd sourced data using real time and post processing tools.
**It would be nice if you also had**:
- High level of experience in performing RF Coverage simulations and link budgets using 9955 planning tool.
- Capability to perform End-to-end analysis beyond radio domain
