Research Fellow

**Part time (0.60 FTE) fixed term until 31 March 2026**
- **Research fellow role in research translation in digital health**
- **Base Salary $**122,830**(pro rata for 0.60 FTE) + 17% superannuation**

We have an opportunity for a Research Fellow to support the innovative research work of Professor Tim Shaw in digital health. You will work closely with clinicians, managers and operational teams within healthcare facilities to leverage health data to enhance clinical and team performance and inform quality improvement.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- conduct original research independently or as part of a team, focusing on publication, conference presentations, and securing research funding
- maintain a research profile, including publication of book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, conference and/or seminar papers
- develop research collaborations and engage in translational research that result in knowledge or technology transfer leading to commercialisation, improved policy or practice, or enhancement to industry, the profession or community
- provide informal mentoring and guidance to lower-level academics and supervise postgraduate research students or projects where appropriate
- contribute expertise and knowledge through communication of scholarship with industry, forums of public debate, organisation of public events, seminars, and conferences

**About you**
- Doctorate or PhD - In a relevant field
- proven experience conducting original research and engaging in scholarly activity in the areas of:

- Data-driven quality improvement
- Digital Health in Cancer Care
- Clinical practice data feedback and review
- Research translation and implementation in cancer care
- a developing network of academic, industry and professional partners and stakeholders
- a developing research profile in discipline or area of expertise
- proven experience supervising and mentoring others
