Speak for Yourself Speech & Language Pathology is a boutique family owned clinic based in Petrie QLD. We provide speech therapy services in our clinic, via telehealth, and mobile speech therapy in the Moreton Bay region and Brisbane Northside. We work with developmental communication disorders across the lifespan, and our core work is with children and adolescents who are accessing the NDIS. Our clinic has a special interest area in developmental language, augmentative & alternative communication (AAC), disability and literacy difficulties.

Career Pathways could include:

- Becoming an Allied Health Assistant and implementing Therapy Programs, prescribed and supervised by the Speech Pathologist.
- Join our team as a New Grad Speech & Language Pathologist.

**Skills and abilities required**:

- Great customer service
- Confidence in performing a diverse range of tasks and the ability to adapt to operational requirements on a day to day
- Flexibility with days and times
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Ability to learn new skills and software's (e.g. Halaxy)
- Ability to work independently when needed
- General cleaning of premises
- Comfortable working with people with diverse backgrounds and needs (e.g. autism, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTQIA+, behaviours of concern)

**What does a typical day look like?**

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Morning shift
- No weekends
