Key responsibilities include confirming order details, offering product recommendations, and keeping customers informed about their orders. The successful Order Clerk will build strong customer relationships, ensuring a smooth order process from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive customer orders through various channels (mail, phone, electronic platforms).
- Gather customer details and billing information, ensuring accuracy in the order form.
- Notify relevant departments when supplies are low or orders may deplete stock.
- Provide customers with product pricing, shipping dates, and any potential delays.
- Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and contracts.
- Ensure proper forwarding of order information to appropriate departments for delivery.
- Inspect outgoing orders to ensure they meet customer specifications.
- Review orders for completeness and escalate incomplete orders for follow-up.
- Coordinate with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, and delivery teams to track or expedite shipments.
- Recommend additional products or services that meet customer needs.

**Qualifications**:

- High school certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Strong customer rapport-building skills.
- Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and calmly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Outstanding time management and coordination abilities.
