**Job Description**:
Our Finance team is growing Due to internal promotions, we’re looking for an Accounts Clerk to provide the team administrative support by performing clerical tasks such as filing, basic bookkeeping, management of restaurant petty cash transactions, preparing and processing payments and invoices, and reconciling accounts and expenses. The Accounts Clerk will also support the team and collaborate with them on various accounting projects.

**What you can expect in the role**:

- Process construction invoices into the system
- Match construction invoices to purchase orders
- Manage the petty cash expenses process for corporate restaurants
- Record COGS weekly transfers and rebates
- Process utility invoices
- Assist in preparing month-end close procedures including associate journals
- Maintain, analyse, and reconcile accounts payable ledger for construction processes
- Reconcile supplier statements as required
- Maintain digital records and electronic filing in SharePoint up to date
- Adhoc duties to support the broader team

**You’ll enjoy this role if you have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce preferred
- Excellent Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- QSR, hospitality, or food and beverage experience desirable
- High level of attention to detail, analytical
- Strong computer/IT acumen plus intermediate Excel
