**Welcome to Veriu King William, Adelaide**

Veriu Adelaide marks an exciting new chapter for Veriu Group as our first hotel in South Australia, and our largest hotel to date at 191 keys. Opening early 2026(CY), this flagship property will transform a former office building at 80 King William Street, right in the heart of the CBD, into a vibrant, design-led hotel that reflects the bold, connected, and community-focused spirit of Veriu.

With thoughtfully designed apartment-style accommodation and warm, genuine hospitality, Veriu Adelaide is set to become a go-to destination for corporate travellers, long-stay guests, and curious explorers alike. As our presence grows in the South Australian market over the next couple of years, this hotel will play a key role in building local partnerships, showcasing our brand, and delivering the Veri-Best guest experience that sets us apart.

**Responsibilities**

Our hotels are run, structured and managed like small businesses and our General Managers understand that genuine success requires them to remain focused on the commercial drivers that really equate to success. Surrounded by a passionate and supportive shared-services structure and operations team, you'll bring creativity, out-of-the-box thinking and a hands-on approach to drive the success of your business.

In the pre-opening phase you'll work with our Development & Corporate Office teams on the delivery of the hotel to the market, and the ramp up of the business in line with performance expectations. There'll be a level of travel required to our HQ in Melbourne before the hotel opens, and a lot of time between site ensuring that our pre-opening tasks and timelines are executed.

Post-opening, your responsibilities will require you to:

- Optimise business turnover and delivery of business operating profit
- Design, execute and drive business development and growth
- Establish a high-performance team aligned to our core values of Relationship Focused, Integrity, Personal Growth & Ownership Mindset
- Manage daily hotel operations in line with our Veri-Best Framework
- Optimise guest satisfaction and management
- Drive business compliance and critical incident management
- Facility and asset management
- Management administration and reporting
