A thrilling chance is available for a seasoned clinical leader aiming to progress in their career. The opportunity is to join the team as a full-time, permanent Associate Director of Nursing at a private hospital in Perth. This position will provide professional nursing leadership to the inpatient ward NUMs whilst providing the daily operational lead as the Patient Flow service lead.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

Key functions include:

- Leading the daily bed meeting and coordinating the patient flow for the hospital;
- Partnering with the ADON, Perioperative Services to provide a seamless service to patients and VMOs;
- Growing and leading the team in providing, safe, informed, adaptive, and values-led care;
- Having an engaging approach to supporting VMOs.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Registration with AHPRA;
- Postgraduate qualification in leadership, nursing, or relatable discipline (desirable);
- At least 5 years of leadership in an acute hospital setting;
- Demonstrate astute commercial understanding of labour hours and patient flow;
- Have excellent communication skills & a strong desire to partner with internal stakeholders;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Demonstrate a coaching leadership style;

**ABOUT THE FACILITY**

The hospital, located in Perth, is a 224-bed private facility that provides Acute Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation, and Coronary and Intensive Care Services. The Operating Theatre department consists of 10 theatres (including a Hybrid) covering a range of specialities, including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, general, vascular, and plastic reconstructive surgery.
