We are seeking individuals with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Diploma of School Age Education and Care, or equivalent qualifications. Bring your life experience in sports, art, craft, or coaching to enhance the children's learning.

Multiple casual and part-time positions available are in our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program. Join us to provide high-quality education and care to children.

As a valued Educator at CRCS, you will be responsible for interacting with and effectively supervising the children while working as a team to deliver a high-quality education and care service. A key focus of this role is to acknowledge and support the unique strengths, needs and interests of the whole child while inspiring a supportive culture of safety.

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Ability to engage children in activities which are appropriate to their interests and abilities.
- Ability to develop appropriate and sustained relationships with children.
- Demonstrated awareness of the rights of the child.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated awareness of mandatory reporting obligations.
- Ability to follow directions and undertake tasks at all levels.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Studying towards primary/early childhood education qualification
- First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010.
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training.
- Food Safety, Handling and Hygiene training.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations and Standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning or My Time Our Place Framework.

**CRCS also requires all workers to**:
Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
