**About the role**:
The Admin Assistant will be responsible for the overall delivery and administration of organisation.
This opportunity would suit an individual who has strong communication, ability to prioritise tasks, time-manage, high attention to detail, and ability to foster a healthy team-oriented environment.
**The applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following**:
- Proven in proficiency in providing administrative support, particularly in the use of Microsoft office programs and the ability to prepare documents.
- Have computer skills in word processing, data management and use and or knowledge of information systems
- Ability to work as a team member and with a high level of autonomy to effectively prioritise, organise and set realistic timeframes to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues and to identify opportunities for quality improvement
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to consult with clients and staff at all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of, and adherence to NDIS Provider Responsibilities, supporting legislation and principles which will include knowledge of funding requirements
Under the direction of the Managing Director, the objectives of the position are to provide administrative support to overall management of service delivery functions, ensuring services are of high quality, are cost-effective and deliver results in line with the organisation Mission, Vision and Values. You will be the first point of contact for the clients and staff.
**You will**:
- Provide administrative support to ensure services are developed and delivered in accordance with the organisational Vision, Mission and Values
- Have an in-depth understanding of sector values, person-centred approaches and choice and control principles in the NDIS
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of, and adherence to NDIS Provider Responsibilities, supporting legislation and principles which will include knowledge of funding requirements
- Develop, implement, and review operational plans and policies
- Ensure services and activities are performed in line with the allocated budget and support
- Ensure quality assessment and risk management documents are record in the system
- Custodian for management of office stationery supplies including maintenance of stock list of stationery, distribution of stationery as required by staff and keeping a log of distribution.
- Maintenance of the filing system ensuring safekeeping of confidential materials
- Organisation of organisation employee’s clearance arrangements, preparation of all necessary documentation, implementation of follow-up actions.
- Compilation and preparation of briefing and presentation materials, speeches, background information and documentation for meetings and missions
- General admin support to cover procurement of good and services as requested.
- Maintenance of records on assets management, preparation of reports and databases.
- Maintenance of files and records relevant to office maintenance
- Update customer records in the system, including notes about interactions
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Participate in team-building activities
**Education**
- Certificate 3 and Above in Business Administration or equivalent
**Essential Requirements**:
- Current DHS (Disability-Related) Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check
