**What You’ll Do**
As a Kitchen Steward you will work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent internal service and to promote a positive working environment, as well as follow workplace hygiene procedures and maintain workplace in a clean and hygienic manner.

**How You’ll Do It**
- Ensure all kitchenware is returned to its allocated kitchen area and stored in a clean and safe manner.
- Report any issues that may affect kitchen operations or food safety immediately to your outlet Senior/Team Leader.
- Report breakages and/or damaged goods to your outlet Senior/Team Leader.
- Assist with Event setup and pack down such as preparing of plate warmers, setting buffet(s), collection of plates/cutlery and service equipment from event location and returned to kitchen for cleaning & storage
- Complete daily tasks such as empty and clean rubbish bins, sanitise hand basins, clean and sanitise kitchen trolleys, refill hand towel dispensers & hand soap when required, spray benches with sanitiser, clean kitchen floors, check all equipment is switched off after use and lock all fridges & doors on exit.
- Complete weekly check list such as cleaning of cold room door, seals & flaps, bleach chopping boards, de-scale dishwasher, clean dry store shelving, clean ice-machine, clean range hood, defrost & clean chest freezer, heavy duty clean of wok stations & polish stainless steel walls.
- Ensure the respective Kitchen Cleaning Checklist is adhered to and completed as required.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Effective communication skills.
- Self organisation, problem solving and time management skills.
- Available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
