**Calling all Detect and Response Cyber Security Specialists**

**Location**

Canberra, ACT

The Department currently has a policy which requires at least 40% of work in the office. Alternative arrangements may be available with the approval of Managers and the CIO.

**Duties**
- Respond to Cyber incidents within the organisation
- Assist portfolio agencies with incident response activities
- Engagement with relevant business areas in remediation activities and provide post incident advice
- Monitor and respond to daily incidents reported in SIEM

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated knowledge of toolsets including Azure, Splunk and Sentinel.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate security concepts and controls to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability in providing considered security advice to stakeholders, team members and Executive.
- Demonstrated experience in post incident reporting (PIR) and documentation.
- Experience working within a Cyber team and taking direction from the ITSA.
