**Fabricator / Body Builder Required**

**BASE FABRICATIONS** is a growing busy fabrication workshop based in Naval Base. Offering a complete range of trailer solutions to the agricultural, mining, construction, and general freight industries. Our quality design, fabrication and service solutions ensure our trailers are engineered for reliability, durability, and performance.

We are looking for Fabricators, Body Builders who will be fabricating, welding, and conducting repairs and maintenance on road equipment.

The position is.

**Full Time Permanent Position**

NAVAL BASE Location, just South of Fremantle

**Immediate Start**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and assemble of new transport equipment from technical drawings
- Selecting, cleaning, and preparing metal stock
- Marking and cutting out sections, shapes using hand tools and other workshop equipment.
- Joining metal sections using MIG welding techniques
- Identify and resolving fabrication issues
- Meet production deadlines and quality requirements
- Always ensure workplace safety requirements and correct use of PPE
- Perform all duties while adhering to OH&S requirements

**Position Requirements**
- Trade qualified, MIG essential, TIG desirable
- Ability to read drawings, plans
- Strong fabrication knowledge
- Drivers licence

**Salary**: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Welding / Fabricating: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Naval Base, WA 6165 (preferred)
