Category Specialist for Corporate Services portfolio with this Global Blue Chip Mining client
You will be responsible for providing support and specialist corporate service agreements including some technology category management activities in line with category plans and to increase productivity, lower cost, manage risk and unlock organisational value safely and sustainably.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing category and sourcing strategies that minimise supply risk to the business, optimise cost, and contribute to process automation
- Developing effective relationships with internal business leaders to understand business requirements, to forecast demand, and verify that established contracts are effective
- Developing collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure optimum delivery quality and sustained performance in line with business objectives. This also includes supporting resolution of supplier performance issues and escalations
- Ensures delivery against the corporate services sourcing plan
- Develops negotiation plans and leads negotiations with Suppliers.
**About you**:
- Several years’ experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of contract law with the ability to read, understand, draft, and negotiate service contracts.
- Strong experience developing commercial strategies and leading high-value strategic negotiations, with a strong understanding of corporate and white-collar services
- Excellent understanding of service contracts and the associated risk
- Competent in contract drafting, and negotiation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, Commerce, Law, or Procurement.
