**The Position**

**Inherit an existing portfolio of FMCG clients and supply them with FMCG products and still earn trailing commissions**

**Company** - Well-established in the FMCG Space.

**The Job Description -**

**Manage; sell and upsell to an existing portfolio of clients who are collectively producing approximately 600k in revenue each year.**

**Why is this portfolio only producing 600k in yearly revenue after 4 years in business? Reason is that we are breaking off the division numbering 5000 businesses and giving it all to you.**

This is a very simple, straight forward but financially rewarding position. This is not high tech, sell and update your data base, and log each time you contact your clients, so having the ability to type as you speak would be an advantage and it saves you a lot of time. There is no real formula to the function of the sales position apart from contacting existing clients and new clients from the quality data base; decision makers; names and mobile numbers, sell, up-sell and take orders from them over the phone plus encourage them to make future
**purchases online(don’t worry the clients are still yours and you get paid your full coms, buying online just saves you time that you can spend on increasing your client base.**

- Your existing portfolio of clients are currently, purchasing just over $50,000 in revenue and growing each month collectively, this is significant to you're commission earnings each year.
- The clients that we hand over to you are active repeat buyers. what is a repeat buyer? A Shop, Store or Outlet that purchases our products weekly; bi-weekly or monthly at a wholesale price and in turn, they sell retail to their clientele.
- We currently have 2000 skews(2000 different products in our range and growing every month)
- The majority of your/our clients are only purchasing a fraction of what we supply, and they have the potential to purchase a lot more from a number of different categories.
- We have quality products that are cost effective, and your clients will earn more margin retail when sold.
- We operate in a space where much of what we supply is purchased by customers on impulse and our clients use these additional purchases to increase their order per client. Win/Win.
- You will inherit a full data base of 5000 small businesses in your industry vertical, mostly mum and dad owned, and operated businesses located Australia wide.
- The owner is usually on the premises and answers the phone when you call. We also have their mobile numbers.
- From the 5000, just over 200 are purchasing products online on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. You stay in regular contact with them at least once every 6 weeks.
- You earn commission on their orders at the same rate as on new clients.
- Once they are in and buying it is easy to increase the size of their orders with additional products and increase the size of your coms at the same time.
- The remainder of the 5000 are made up of a mixture of clients who purchase an insignificant amount of merchandise; some that have bought once or twice but not regular, and 4500 have never been contacted prior.
- Call the clients, make recommendations, help them buy online, make suggestions to new clients, call them explain the revenue stream they are neglecting, encourage them to place orders.

FMCG companies who employ salespeople to manage relationships with third parties in order to supply those companies with merchandise on a weekly; bi-weekly or monthly basis; Those salespeople usually build up their portfolios to a point where they are generating 2 million to 5 million dollars in revenue. Think companies who supply
**food, beverages; lollies; toys, nick-nacks; odds and ends plus a-large-number of additional items**. And think that these salespeople usually only sell one of the product ranges and or categories listed (E.G. Beverage companies don’t also sell food and toys), in addition they have to drive around wasting time in slow moving traffic; driving time that eats big chunks into their selling time. Those salespeople are usually on a” just above the poverty line salary of 55k” and usually earn a small bonus at the end of the year, anything from a Christmas ham to a $2,000 once off bonus plus a pat on the head for doing a good job and please come back again next year. Now I always ask myself in these situations.
