**The opportunity**
Vacenti is seeking a Full-time Human Resources Officer to join the Human Resource Team at Shared Services_. _Reporting to, and working closely with the Human Recourses Manager,this role involves championing HR initiatives aligned with Vacenti's strategic objectives. You will foster an inclusive work environment, drive employee engagement, ensure compliance with employment laws, and contribute to talent attraction, development, and retention. By implementing best HR practices and promoting effective communication, you will play a crucial role in building a collaborative, innovative, and continuously improving workplace culture.
**Your main responsibilities will include**:
- Provide professional and timely responses to internal and external stakeholders via various communication channels.
- Offer guidance to employees and managers on matters related to the employee lifecycle, programs, and policies.
- Address payroll and benefits queries, collaborating with the Payroll Officer to resolve issues.
- Manage uniform requests, corporate name badges, and maintain a register of employees on working visas.
- Oversee visa monitoring, work rights, vaccination, and police check re-accreditation processes.
- Monitor and communicate fixed-term contract end dates and facilitate conversions as per awards and agreements.
- Contribute to the development of metrics for core HR processes and assist in budgeting.
- Provide status updates and assist in collating metrics for monthly SLT reports.
- Recommend enhancements and improvements across the operational framework.
- Contribute to the development of metrics for core HR processes and the administration of surveys for feedback.
- Collaborate with the HR team to deliver organisational objectives and support team members as needed.
- Assist in recruitment and administration tasks, contributing to the overall success of the HR function.
**To be successful in this position you will need**:
- A sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices.
- Intermediate user of MS Office Suite, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Interpersonal and Communication - demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Teamwork and Collaboration - ability to work collaboratively within a team and with other stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail - display a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
