Digital Delivery Manager

As our Digital Delivery Manager you will lead the creation of a new integration platform and centre of excellence. The role is based within our Common Platforms Technology team, leading technology change across multiple BUPA Business Units. Driving end-to-end teams to deliver technology-enabled products, initiatives, and services and ensure the team is running and incorporating agile practices and principles to deliver solutions which support internal and external customers. In addition, you will optimise for continuous delivery, quality outcomes and protect the team from disturbance and external threats to be successful in all aspects of delivery, including: stakeholder engagement, planning, analysis, development, testing and release.

**In this role you will have an opportunity to**:
**Drive business outcomes by**:

- Leading an end-to-end delivery of technology-enabled products, initiatives and/or services
- Ensuring the delivery team’s purpose and objectives are clear and linked to the broader vision, strategy, and customer roadmap
- Work closely with the Product Owner and Team, focus team on what is needed to deliver business outcomes that is the best value approach and in alignment with defined outcomes / objectives of the sprint and program increment
- Ensure Agile Practices Governance and Management
- Facilitate and run day to day agile ceremonies including stand up’s, sprint planning, retros and showcases.
- Lead PI planning event for the team and co-ordinate external team dependencies to ensure visibility of upcoming delivery.
- Communication of the team delivery commitments and progress updates
- Shield the team and assist in the removal of blockers and other delivery obstacles

**Coach, Mentor and Guide the team by**:

- Facilitating team improvements and contributing to the Digital Way of Working

All the while, building relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, and integration teams to ensure delivery is smooth and customer centric

**To be successful in the role you may have**:

- Agile, Lean for Software Development, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DevOps, Extreme Programming (XP) and are familiar with a range of digital tools
- Demonstrated experience in running and optimising agile delivery teams with a blend of onshore and off-shore model
- Exposure to scaled agile model and PI planning events.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office365 suite
- Experience with running tech / middle layer agile teams
- Leadership capabilities including the ability to foster productive team dynamics, engage and enable teams
- Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- An ability to create an effective team environment for people to innovate and learn
- Stakeholder management, planning, organisation, decision making and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple streams of work effectively within your team
- High level of flexibility with a strong ability to lead teams successfully through cultural, process, system and transformational change
- Ability to think creatively to solve problems and to thrive on challenges requiring innovative solutions
