**The Role**

Property and Development NSW within DPHI is currently seeking to appoint a Work Health and Safety Lead.

This role is responsible for safety assurance and the compliance of systems, procedures and practice of PDNSW projects by overseeing the efficacy of operations, WHS information and support mechanisms.

You will develop, implement and drive the directorate’s commitment to WHS policies, standards and safe work practices to mitigate risks and educate stakeholders on their WHS obligations, policies and requirements.

**About You**

You thrive working in a fast-paced environment with a multitude of competing priorities with no two days the same. Your exceptional stakeholder engagement skills will be crucial to providing successful outcomes in a timely manner.

Your leadership is hands on and collaborative, engaging your team to deliver optimal objectives withing tight timeframes. Ensuring the support services provided by you and your team to all your stakeholders to the highest standard is essential to the role.

Your communications skill both verbal and written are one of your key strengths and will enable you to provide expert and accurate advice quality information and reports for a diverse range of stakeholders on management, policy, program and service delivery, and operational issues.

**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in safety, risk and compliance and/or demonstrated extensive experience in relevant field.
- A current and valid NSW drivers full licence
