**About the Job**

Delivery of the corporate communications plans supporting the Head of Corporate Communications to protect and build Rest’s corporate reputation, to advocate positively on behalf of members and to help members and employers to find out more about Rest.

This involves raising Rest’s profile and brand through communications campaigns, media relations, issues management.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Develop corporate communications content and plans to support Rest in achieving its strategic objectives and in protecting and managing its reputation and to help members find out more about Rest, which includes:

- Communications campaigns around the agreed Rest and Corporate Communications strategy and agreed policy positions to engage Rest members about their superannuation and to help them find out more about Rest.
- Support media relations to drive positive engagement and increase Rest’s profile
- Delivery of the Annual Members’ Meeting.
- Develop content for Rest’s annual report, member briefings and sustainability reports.
- Support advocacy of public policy positions to benefit Rest members, employers and Rest as well as supporting Rest’s strategy as a Responsible Organisation.
- Contribute to the implementation of communications as part of the aligned corporate communications plan, advised by the Rest CEO and the Executive team.
- Work with key external suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver business outcomes in line with timelines and budgets
- Manage budgets

**About You**:
You are a storyteller, a wordsmith, you are committed to the highest standard of delivery and want to progress your professional capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and creatively with problem solving capability
- Possess strong planning, organising and project management skills
- Experience with external communications, including PR and the media
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise work, manage time, and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to work well in a team environment whilst demonstrating initiative and work autonomously
- Sound relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
- Industry knowledge - experience and/or understanding of working in a regulated environment
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in communications/marketing or related discipline
