-Join our Enterprise Data Architecture team as a Technical Data Analyst, with a focus on data modeling. The Enterprise Data Architecture team is responsible for defining data architecture strategy, standards, frameworks & promote data modelling as an asset to enable both defensive and offensive use of data to maximise value. This role will work in the EDA team to collaborate with stakeholders across Macquarie to promote data modeling & help analyse requirements, legacy process and data documentation to help resolve complex enterprise data challenges.

- What role will you play?As a technical data analyst specialising in data modelling, you will help service the data modelling community, working closely with a team of enterprise data modellers and data architects. You will support the role out of a new data modelling tool by driving data modelling working groups and will undertake business analysis work associated with Enterprise data models to feed requirements back to the enterprise data architect
- What you offer- 4+ years of experience in a technical data or business analytics role, supporting activity from requirements gathering to design and development in data projects
- Experience with data modeling and tools like ERWIN & working knowledge of aspects of data modelling will be highly desirable.
- Exposure to and a working knowledge of data architecture principles, including data modeling is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the entire data project lifecycle, AWS data stack, SQL & reporting tools like power BI, Agile methodology, and tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Exposure to data management concepts and data governance tools like Collibra is added advantage.A customer-focused approach, strong stakeholder management abilities & learning mindset to grow into the role is a must have.
