**We have a Casual position open in Home and Community support services, providing personal care assistance for our** clients in Sunnybank, Mount Gravatt, Carina and surrounding regions.**

As a valued member of our community aged care team, you’ll provide personal care and support that helps older Australians live independently in their own homes. You’ll be backed by a passionate, experienced team who are dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care - and who will support you every step of the way.
- It is a requirement for our community roles all staff possess a reliable vehicle, valid Australian driver licence and be willing to travel throughout the region visiting clients in their own homes._

**About the role**
**Our Home Care Workers support our clients with personalised services and meaningful activities that promote their health, happiness, independence, and individual lifestyle choices. These include:

- Personal care assistance, such as showering and personal hygiene needs
- Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, shopping, house cleaning and meal preparation)
- Social connection and companionship

**What do we need from you?**
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent qualification.
- **Australian Driver licence and**Own vehicle**:

- **Current First Aid & CPR**:

- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
- Up to date Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Experience in care role highly regarded
