**About the Company**:
Privately owned leading company with over 30 years’ of experience in the demountable building and structural steel building industries. This branch specialises in structural steel framing for single and multi-level prefabricated buildings for education, mining, accommodation, and buildings in general. Operating in Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth, our Client has built a quality reputation which is supported by dedicated management teams and employees. They are currently experiencing rapid growth which leads to the requirement for a passionate Accounts Payable Officer to join the team based in Heathwood, QLD.
**About the Role**:
- Paying invoices, including GST, and recording all payments
- Assisting to purchase items as purchase requests
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements
- Tracking credits owed to the company
- Reviewing all payments and expenses, including purchase orders, payroll and invoices
- Reconciling monthly payable reports
- Preparing monthly expense statements and financial reports
- Responding to queries from suppliers, customers and staff
**Some of the skills & experience we are looking for include**:
- Excellent data entry skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, Adobe and MYOB.
